Pullip

*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:

A fashion doll from South Korea originally produced in 2003 by Cheonsang Cheonha. The brand is now managed by Groove. Pullip is unique in that she has eyes that move side to side, along with blinking eyelids. She's been in many anime & fashion collaborations and has had plenty of original designs made just for her.

I began collecting Pullip in 2012 but sold my dolls to a friend when I moved. This is my second collection of Pullips. One day I'd like to get my grail back but her second hand market prices are crazy.

None of my girls are for sale or trade.

Name: Merori

Produced By: Groove

Production Number: P-255

Notes: My breath left my body when I first saw Merori released. At the time I was on a hobby break, so I silently and patiently watched over her at Pullip Style for when I could afford her. Once the perfect sale came I pounced. I've owned a handful of Pullips and Merori might just be my favourite. Her outfit has lots of options, her accessories are cute, and she's purple and black themed! I don't know much about the collaborating fashion artist, but I looked them up late and they have some pretty cool clothes.

Name: Dilettante

Produced By: Groove

Production Number: P-119

Notes: A spur of the moment purchase when I was craving a doll. Pullip Style had her on sale very cheap so I scooped her up after checking out some owner pics. Her stock outfit is meh but Dilettante herself is very lovely. Her hair is fun to bounce and I keep her in a custom fit on display. Unfortunately poor Dilettante is starting to fall apart. She needs a new body as her ankle is busted, making it difficult to keep her standing up. As much as I love Obitsu I probably will want to go with another Pullip body for her.

Name: Romantic Alice Monochrome

Produced By: Groove

Production Number: P-171

Notes: During COVID I found myself longing to return to my doll hobby. I had sold nearly all my dolls a few years prior so I was beginning from scratch. After careful consideration Alice was my choice for a new start. I'm a sucker for characters with white hair, and Pullip has always been a trusted and cherished doll line for me.
